Kozhi Ada

For the ada
1 1/2 cups maida
2 Tbsp ghee
to taste salt
water
for deep fry oil

For Filling
1/2 kg boneless chicken
2 No onions, sliced
5 No green chillies, chopped
2 Tbsp ginger, chopped
2 Tbsp garlic, chopped
1 Tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
to taste salt

Cooking Method:
Mix salt and maida,Ghee and water. Make it into a semi hard dough. Keep aside.

For filling:
Clean the chicken. Cut into small pieces. Cook with the red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Shred it and keep aside.
Heat the oil in a pan. Saute the onions, green chillies, ginger and garlic until done. Add the shredded cooked chicken and saute again. Now, add the mint, curry leaves, coriander leaves, garam masala mix well and keep aside.

Make small balls from the maida dough. Roll them out (puri size) and stuff with the filling. Fold it into a half moon shape. Seal and Flute the edges.

Deep fry it in hot oil, at moderate heat.

Serve Hot and Enjoy !!!!!!!!!!

You can replace the filling with beef, mutton , fish etc.

    @ dilip.. if you want to keep the ada long lasting ..
    the filling should be really dry …
    yu can make the ada much small so that one fried it is really crispy …
    then you can store for long

      we ditn mention its our picture .. however when you add pics on the web please copyright it .. our intention was only recipe .. its not that we dont have pics of the item .. and the pics in your blog is there in so many blogs … you can check on google image … thanks and we have changed it
